What is intersectional environmentalism?
Intersectional environmentalism is an approach that acknowledges people and environmental wellbeing are deeply interconnected and must both be cared for in tandem.
What is waste reduction?
Waste reduction is a process for reducing how much waste is produced from any given activity or operation. Our waste reduction work focuses on the point of human interaction (ie: signage, spatial design, point of sale interactions, purchasing habits...), and making environmental sustainability feel sustainable.
How can I tell if The Sustainable Fox is a good fit for my needs?
We offer a complimentary 15-30 minute information session to discuss your needs and goals, and determine if our services align with your vision.
How do I rent bins?
Recycling and compost bin rentals are available for clients who engage our event consultation services. Prior clients may reach out for bin rentals without additional consulting.
Do you rent garbage bins?
No, we are a waste reduction focused service and with our consultation you should not need garbage bins. We provide recycling and compost bin rentals to support small to medium events (up to 1000 attendees).
What if access needs contribute to my waste?
Those access needs are part of your sustainable and we are passionate about designing solutions that support you and your needs while also seeking opportunities for positive environmental impacts.
What do I do with [blank] piece of recycling?
Great question! If you're a BC resident you can try using the Recyclopedia or if you're a CRD resident you can use the even more precise Myrecyclopedia! But it won't always have the answer. If you're still stuck we'd love to set up a time to talk about it with you!
